Bob Sukovich is a front row cornet player with Imperial Brass. Bob was originally with the band from 1992 to 2000, and rejoined in 2017. In addition to being a long standing member of the band, Bob also serves on our Board of Directors as Treasurer.
Bob has a BSc in Accounting and a Law JD, both from Rutgers, and lists his occupation as General Counsel / Compliance.
Bob started trumpet at the age of 8 and outside of Imperial Brass also plays in a wind band and an orchestra. Bob also enjoys hiking, camping, and his 1978 Corvette.
When asked for his favorite Imperial Brass moments, Bob responded with: “I have many: First West Point contest; bus trip to Syracuse for a festival; the fact that Mark knew the menu of every diner in NJ. One in particular was when we had Chris Jaudes – known for high notes – as a guest soloist at a church in Piscataway. He walked in, looked around and said, ‘lots of glass in here'”.
