Joseph Soriano

Joseph Soriano has studied trumpet performance at the Mannes School of Music, and most recently the Manhattan School of Music. Teach-ers include Thomas Smith, Mark Gould, Ray Riccomini, Dr. Richard Gradone, Steve Jankowski, Vincent Penzarella, and David Krauss. While at Mannes, Mr. Soriano performed as an assistant to Mr. Riccomini at Carnegie Hall for the Scheherazade Initiative, and along with Mr. Smith at the opening ceremony of the new hall at Mannes College of Music. Other performances have included the St. James Cathedral Brass Quartet, World Peace Orchestra, Mid Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation, Manhattan School of Music Chamber Sinfonia, and Manhattan School of Music Symphony Orchestra. In addition to Imperial Brass, Mr. Soriano performs regularly with Gramercy Brass Orchestra and The Occasional Opera Company.
